AI Avatars Freeing Cybersecurity Practitioners

According to a Tyton Partners survey of 2,048 students, 1,748 instructors and 306 administrators, students are more enthusiastic about online and hybrid learning options than face-to-face instruction.

The Time for Class 2023 survey, published Tuesday, found that a significant majority (69%) prefer fully online, hybrid, or blended learning options.

We think the live instructor boat has sailed. And we also think the future of online education, at least in technology, will be found in G-AI driven and content reviewed, engaging avatars, who can connect on a personal level with students and drive higher absorption of course content.

When 7 of 10 students express a strong desire for the flexibility and format of pre-recorded coursework, we feel our early decision to offer only pre-recorded, just-in-time, topical and relevant content, addressing all of the offensive and defensive cybersecurity issues that characterize the speed, scope and danger of the current cybersecurity environment is validated.

We live in a frantic, unpredictable world, manipulated by un-seen schedule shifts and changes almost on a minute-by-minute basis. Who of us can adhere with consistency to a fixed schedule?

To assure optimized efficacy, all of our certification coursework is delivered by these instructor avatars, curated by CISOs and senior security practitioners and peer reviewed for accuracy and efficacy. This allows us to update our Cyber-Warrior courses daily to assure their content is always relevant and fresh. In addition, these courses are organized within 15 separate learning paths mapped to the NIST/NICE framework, which in turn represents 900 hours of training.

Of equal importance, is our Master Class in the Top Cybersecurity topics delivered by the most respected leaders in the space. Our Master Class is delivered by real humans like John Kindervag on Zero Trust. Dr. Chase Cunningham on ZTNA. Sam Curry and Chuck Brooks on Generative AI. Lynn Peachey on Cyber-Insurance. Tal Kollender on Configuration Vulnerabilities. Ari Redbord on Cryptocurrency. Kelly Hood on CMMC, Jeremy Grant on Identity, Grant Schneider on Policy, Kyle Schmechel on Compliance and Awareness.

These sessions elevate the subject matter expertise to levels consumable by the CISO and by the C-Suite as well.

In addition, we offer a growing library of over 500 lectures from our topically-specific global events by some of the most respected SMEs in Cybersecurity.

Our weekly podcast and daily blog posts along with news feeds, eBooks, thought leadership white papers are all accessible and available to members to copy and reuse and provide internal support for initiatives and programs underway.

Coming soon is our community portal so that members can join special interest groups and build communities of interest that supplement the content with rich context from our daily experience.
