Edacheril “E.P.” Mathew was selected as the Deputy CIO of the Defense Intelligence Agency in July 2021, after previously serving as the Chief of Operations for CIO. As Chief of Operations, Mathew led a vast geographically-dispersed team of over 1,000 civilians, joint military, and contractors to operate and sustain Information Technology (IT) services on behalf of DIA and its mission partners—providing network capabilities and IT services of various classifications to over 250,000 users at over 600 global sites.
